MileMizer is published by TRED Technologies LLC ("we", "us").
The short version: MileMizer is designed so we cannot see your driving. All trip data is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, it syncs through your own iCloud account — not ours. We operate no backend servers that receive, store, or process your location data.
What We Collect
On-device only (never transmitted to us):
Precise GPS coordinates while tracking a drive
Start and end timestamps of each drive
The routes you drive (polylines)
Addresses reverse-geocoded from your coordinates (via Apple's reverse geocoding service — Apple, not us, receives the request)
Any categories, purposes, business allocations, vehicle tags, and receipts you attach
Your editable IRS rates and goals
Entries you create (work locations, vehicles, businesses, frequent-route rules)
Transmitted to Apple (not us) only to deliver features you requested:
MKDirections requests for route snapping — renders a cleaner map polyline
Calendar event reads (if you grant permission) — happen entirely on your device; nothing leaves
iCloud sync via Apple CloudKit — data goes directly between your devices and your iCloud account
We collect nothing for advertising, analytics, tracking, or profiling.
What We Do NOT Collect
We operate no servers that receive your location data, trip data, calendar data, receipts, or any personal information
No analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no third-party tracking libraries are bundled in MileMizer
No contact list, microphone, or camera access outside of you choosing a receipt photo
In-App Purchases
Purchases (Lifetime Unlock) are handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple receives the transaction. We receive anonymized sales aggregates from Apple but never your personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored on-device in a SwiftData SQLite store and optionally replicated to your own iCloud. To delete everything, delete the app; iOS purges the on-device store. To delete iCloud copies, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → MileMizer → Delete Data.
Your Rights
You have full, direct, immediate control over all your data. There is nothing to request from us because we have nothing.
